Our Church History

The Remnant of Judah Gospel Church was born through prayer, obedience, faith, and a God-given vision. From the initial revelation of the church’s name and purpose to the establishment of its ministries, leadership institute, and permanent church home, every stage of our journey reflects God’s faithfulness.

FEBRUARY 2021
God revealed the name “Remnant of Judah” and the divine purpose of the church to Dr. Jackson. She fasted and prayed for 21 days for the vision to come to pass. God told her to write the vision for the church, which she did over the next 16 months.

APRIL 2022
The Lord spoke to Dr. Jackson and told her to raise up a musician for the church, even before the church was established. God directed her to a specific young man. She began sowing into his life, and that month, he began taking keyboard lessons.

JULY 13, 2022
The Lord spoke to Dr. Jackson and her husband, Robert, and told her it was time to go and plant the church.

SEPTEMBER 25, 2022
The foundation was laid for the church. Initial services were held in the Jacksons’ home. God directed Dr. Jackson to appoint her husband, Robert L. Jackson, and Stephen Evans as Deacons. She also appointed Sister Shirley Evans as the church administrator.

OCTOBER 23, 2022
The Foundational Service for the Remnant of Judah Gospel Church was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The church adopted “The ROJ” as its moniker and the motto, “Come as you are, just don’t plan to stay that way.”

DECEMBER 2022 – FEBRUARY 2023
The congregation corporately prayed, fasted, and praised God as an offering to find a permanent church home.

FEBRUARY 2023
The church’s first ministry associate, Edith Cook, was added. Dr. Jackson was led to a building in Swatara Township. The property owner was receptive to the church’s vision. The congregation prayed and voted to acquire the space for the church.

MARCH – MAY 2023
Renovations began on the new church home. God opened several doors, and the church was blessed by many people in the community who sowed into the vision.

JUNE 1, 2023
The congregation moved into its new church home at 441 Friendship Road in Swatara Township. The opening service in the new church was held on June 25, 2023.

JULY 23, 2023
Robert L. Jackson and Stephen L. Evans were ordained as Deacons.

AUGUST 11–12, 2023
The W.O.W. Women of Worth Women’s Ministry was established with its first Women’s Conference, featuring two days of praise, worship, preaching, and fellowship.

SEPTEMBER 2024
The Pastor established the Remnant of Judah Leadership & Mentoring Institute, also known as ROJLMI. It was created to train leaders for church ministry and Christian leaders called to serve outside of the church. The first class began with five students.

APRIL 2025
The first ROJLMI graduation was held with seven scholars. During the graduation, Edith Cook was affirmed as a Prophet, and China Jackson was licensed as an Elder. The second ROJLMI class graduated ten scholars in 2026.

OCTOBER 2025
The Pastor was affirmed to the office of Apostle under the leadership of the church’s presiding prelate, Archbishop Stanley Gorrell of The Merge International Network in Far Rockaway, New York.

“Come as you are, just don’t plan to stay that way.”
